My name is Iris van Wijnen and I am a Dutch visual artist, based in beautiful Bayern, Germany. On this website you can find some of my digital work as well as have a look in my sketchbook. I also draw portraits. People give me a picture of one of their most precious moments, I turn them into a drawn portrait in high resolution which then can have an extra special place in your home.

ABOUT MY ART
For as long as I can remember, I have been drawing and painting. I just started out as a little kid and basically never stopped.
The most important thing about my artwork is JOY.
First of all, the JOY of creating it but then of course the JOY it hopefully brings to other people.
I am an international opera singer traveling the world to sing. I am also a certified yoga teacher and reiki therapist. It is my firm belief that everything is energy and that everything I do needs to flow: Flow freely and flow wild. Whether it is my voice when singing, my body when practicing or teaching yoga, pure energy when working with reiki or energy manifesting on paper when drawing or painting.
